Google Pixel 7 Pro is the best camera phone in the world according to DxOMark

French experts from DxOMark tested the flagship smartphone Google Pixel 7 Pro.

What is known

Google's novelty was able to do what a number of top models from other manufacturers failed to do, and become the best camera phone according to DxOMark. Pixel 7 Pro scored 147 points and became the leader of the ranking of the best. Although Honor Magic 4 Ultra has an identical result.

DxOMark scored 148 for still photography and 143 for video recording. The camera of the smartphone is characterized by accurate color reproduction when shooting in different conditions, has fast autofocus and provides a high level of detail. The disadvantages include the appearance of noise during shooting with a lack of light.

Google Pixel 7 Pro passed two more tests. In the front camera test, the smartphone scored 142 points and took third place along with Huawei Mate 40 Pro. Above are only Huawei P50 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro with 144 and 145 points, respectively.

The quality of the display was rated at 146 points. With this result, Google's new product is located between the two flagships of Apple - iPhone 14 Pro Max (149 points) and iPhone 13 Pro Max (145 points).

Note that the Pixel 7 Pro was able to bypass its predecessor. The main camera of the Pixel 6 Pro scored 134, as did the vivo X70 Pro+. It wasn't even enough to get into the top 10. In the front camera test, the smartphone received 138 points and took sixth place. But the screen of the flagship of 2021 earned only 130 points - this is the 18th place along with the Honor Magic 4 Pro.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro features a 2nd generation Tensor processor and a 6.7” Quad-HD+ OLED display. The screen of the smartphone supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz and has a cutout for the front camera of 10.8 MP. The main camera received modules with a resolution of 50 MP, 48 MP, 12 MP and an optical stabilization system. The smartphone can shoot video in 4K UHD at 60 FPS.
